Outdoor Wall Stencil
This project beautifies a plain wall with an original painted design.
- Trace or draw the design you would like to use onto a large sheet of butcher paper. Use a craft knife to cut along the tracing to create a stencil
- Tape the stencil to the designated wall using painter’s tape. Use a level to make sure it is straight
- Use foam paintbrushes to dab the gold paint onto the stencil. Apply the paint lightly to prevent the paint from bleeding past the stencil
- Apply a second coat of paint if needed. Finally, remove the stencil and let dry
Design Tip: Dab the paintbrush on a paper towel after dipping it in paint to help reduce the amount of paint you apply.
