Create an eye-catching tray for storing keys and jewelry.

8½" x 11" sheet of leather (3/16" thickness)
¼"-gauge leather hole puncher
Cutting mat
(4) ¼" Chicago bolts
Flat-head screwdriver


1. Mark where the ¼" Chicago bolts will be placed in each corner. Measure 1½" from the top and side and ½" inward. Mark the spots with a pencil

2. Use the ¼"-gauge leather hole puncher to make the holes

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the remaining three corners

4. On one corner, cinch the two holes together, and screw in a Chicago bolt. Tighten with the flat-head screwdriver

5. Repeat step 4 for the remaining three corners
