But keeping stemware straight isn't the only use for these charming crafts; use them to add flair to your plain taper candles or as party favors. They also make great personalized gifts: Use a ribbon to tie a set of charms together and attach it to your holiday packages!
Materials:
Beads
Charms
Needle-nosed pliers
Wine charm rings (or jewelry wire) from craft store
Instructions:
1. Choose the charms and beads you want to use. The possibilities are endless, so head to the bead aisle of your local craft store and let your imagination loose. For seasonal wine charms, use a turkey for Thanksgiving or a snowman for winter. If you're giving the charms as a gift, keep the person's interests in mind when looking for charms.
2. String the beads and charm on a premade wine charm ring or make your own using jewelry wire and a pair of needle-nosed pliers. In addition to colored beads, try silver beads or spacers.
3. Follow directions on the premade rings for connecting the two ends of the ring with your pliers. If you're creating your own rings, use the needle-nosed pliers to bend each end of the jewelry wire into a small "U" shape and hook them together.
