CASCADE® AND DAWN®’S “GRIME DETECTIVES” GAME

1. ELIGIBILITY:This promotion is open only to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at time of game play. Employees of Procter & Gamble and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to play/enter. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.
2. HERE’S HOW TO PLAY FOR A CHANCE TO WIN: Beginning 12:01 AM (ET) on 4/2/07 through 11:59 PM (ET) on 7/1/07 (“promotional period”), visit www.grimedetectives.com and follow the on-screen instructions to access the magnifier to scan one of several dishes for hidden food residue. After you have scanned the dish, you will receive an Official Game Message. If the Official Game Message includes the words “You Did It! You’ve Won,” you are an Instant Winner of the prize specified, subject to verification and eligibility. Upon receiving a winning Official Game Message, you must follow the on-screen instructions to claim your prize and receive an entry into the Second Chance Drawing (see Rule #4 for details). If the Official Game Message indicates a non-winning message "Still Dirty. Try Again", or any other message other than stated above, or a blank screen appears, or you do not receive a message, you are not eligible to claim an Instant Win Prize, but will have the opportunity to enter the Second Chance Drawing by following the on-screen instructions. Game play must be completed by 11:59 PM (ET) on 7/1/07. Instant Winners will be determined through random computer generation methodology. Odds of winning an Instant Win Prize will depend upon the time and date of game play. Daily Prize Winners will receive their prizes within 6 - 8 weeks of receiving a winning Official Game Message. Grand and First Prize winners will be officially notified at the conclusion of the promotion. Limit one play/entry per email address per day. If more than one play/entry per person per day is received, only the first play/entry of the day from that person will be eligible.
3. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: 366 prizes with a total approximate retail value of $4,653.37 are available to be won as follows: One (1) Grand Prize - A $1,500 check towards a trip for 2 to Washington, DC to visit the International Spy Museum; One (1) First Prize – A Kenmore Elite® Drawer Dishwasher (including delivery and basic installation) and Kenmore® 10-piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set (ARV: $1,579.98); (364) Daily Prizes – 4 prizes awarded per day consisting of one of each of the following prizes: (91) 20ct Cascade® 2in1 ActionPacs® with Bleach Hydroclean Action™ product (ARV: $3.60 ea.); (91) 75-oz. powder Cascade Complete® with Bleach Hydroclean Action product (ARV: $5.70 ea.); (91) 75-oz. gel Cascade Complete with Bleach Hydroclean Action product (ARV: $5.70 ea.); (91) 25-oz. Dawn® with Bleach Alternative (Lemon Surge scent) product (ARV: $2.29 ea.). Limit one Grand and First Prize per person. Prizes consist of only the item specifically listed as the prize.
4. SECOND CHANCE DRAWING: In the event any Grand or First Prizes are unawarded via Rule #2, they will be awarded in a Second Chance Drawing to be conducted on or about 7/10/07 from among all eligible entries received by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this promotion. If you wish to enter the Second Chance Drawing, follow the on-screen instructions upon receiving an Official Game Message. You must provide requested information so it is received by 11:59 PM (ET) on 7/1/07 to be entered into the Second Chance Drawing. Odds of winning a Grand or First Prize (if prizes are unawarded via Rule #2) via the Second Chance Drawing depend upon the number of unawarded prizes and eligible entries received. Unclaimed Daily Prizes will not be awarded.
5. GENERAL RULES: Potential Grand and First Prize winners (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) must complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, and where legally permissible, a Publicity Release, within 10 days of attempted notification. (Grand and First Prize winners will be officially notified at the conclusion of the promotion.) Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. Winners will be notified by email or standard mail. No substitution or transfer of prize by winner permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. By accepting prize, winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) agree to hold Sponsor, its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, assigns, and agencies harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all liability and damages. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the judges’ decisions. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any promotional materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion or in the announcement of the prizes. If for any reason, including but not limited to an administrative, printing, production, computer or other error or due to technical difficulties or incorrect announcements of any kind, more winning official game messages or official winning email notifications are distributed, or more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded for any prize level, the intended prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize level. In no event will sponsor be obligated to award more than the stated number of prizes. In no event will more than stated number of prizes be awarded. In the event of a technical malfunction or other error regarding the delivery of an Official Game Message, neither the Sponsor nor its respective agents and agencies shall have any liability.

For the names of the Grand and First Prize winners, visit the above website beginning 7/24/07 through 8/20/07, or send a separate stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to: Grime Scene Investigators Winners, P. In the event a dispute arises regarding specific individual entitled to receive prize, entry made by Internet will be declared made by the "authorized e-mail account holder. “Authorized e-mail account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Participant may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the participant is the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address associated with the account/submission. Any damage made to the Web Site will be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such methods. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules |
