The bathroom isn't typically a place where you can showcase a lot of family photos, but with our Picture-Perfect Shower Curtain, now you can. With a few hours of time, a handful of supplies, and plenty of personal photos, you can be on your way to filling your bathroom with family snapshots. You can also insert postcards, magazine pictures, or your children's artwork—the only limit is your imagination! Here's how to make this memory-filled shower curtain:
Materials: Two clear shower curtainsScissorsGrommetsGrommet attachment kitPicturesTape
Instructions: 1. Using scissors, cut squares and/or rectangles (at least 1 inch larger than the pictures you plan on showcasing) from the first shower curtain. Cut as many pieces as you want to cover the second shower curtain in an interesting pattern. 2. Take the squares and/or rectangles and fold in approximately 1/2 inch on all sides. Use a small piece of tape to hold the folds. 3. Lay the second shower curtain flat on the floor or on a large worktable. 4. Arrange your squares and rectangles in a decorative pattern on the shower curtain. Leave at least a 3- to 4-inch border from the edge of the shower curtain to keep out moisture 5. Use your grommet attachment kit to attach the pockets to the shower curtain. Attach grommets onto the bottom and sides of each pocket, approximately 1/2-inch apart. Leave the tops of the pockets open so you can insert pictures. 6. Hang shower curtain in bathroom as usual, and insert pictures into the pockets.
