Look One: Trendy Top
It’s easy to give new life to an old dresser, even if you’re only planning on changing one part of it. The top of the dresser is a big section that has many possibilities:

• Decoupage: This is a crafty way to add textured flair to the top of your dresser. Follow the steps in our decoupage crafting techniques article, and get creative with maps, newspapers, sheet music, book pages or magazines.
• High Gloss Paint: Add a beautiful sheen to your surface with durable high gloss paint. There are so many colorful options, that you’ll have a tough time choosing.
