3D FLOWER Wall Art
Before you shop for materials, see if you have fabric scraps, glue and decorations leftover from previous projects. This is the perfect way to repurpose them—and reduce your craft clutter!

Materials
2 pencils, 1 sharp and 1 dull
Scrap paper
Scissors
Tin metal sheets*
Tin snips
Sandpaper
Fabric scraps
Craft glue
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Large button

*Tip: Look for tin metal at your local craft store. It’s thicker than aluminum foil, but still pliable, so it’s sturdy and easy to shape.

Instructions

Draw a flower on a piece of scrap paper, then cut out. Trace flower onto another piece of paper, then cut into separate petals and center.
With a dull pencil, trace full flower shape onto craft tin, then cut out with tin snips. Lightly sand to smooth out rough or sharp edges.
Lay the fabric pattern-side down on a clean, flat work surface, then trace petal and center shapes onto fabric. Cut out about 1/2” outside of the traced line (so you can wrap the fabric around the flower).
Brush craft glue onto tin, then glue fabric petals to the tin, wrapping over edges. Finish by gluing the center to the tin.
Hot glue a button or other decoration to the center, if desired.
Carefully bend metal petals upwards to form a 3D flower shape.
