Keep your bathroom neat and tidy with quick, easy steps that will help you maintain cleanliness between deep-cleaning days. With a simple wipe-down, floor sweep and some basic organizing, you’ll enjoy shorter cleaning sessions and more time for fun!

Step One: Wipe Down

  • Toilet: Pour a capful of cleaner in the bowl and scrub with a toilet brush. Wipe the seat, bowl, lid and tank with a paper towel dampened with water and cleaner.
  • Shower: Remove toiletries and accessories, then scrub from the showerhead down to the tub. If you’re extra low on time, a simple wipe down will do.
  • Sink: Set countertop items aside, then wipe the faucet, bowl and cabinet doors or sink pedestal. Rinse the toothbrush holder and soap dish in hot water.
  • Mirrors: Spray and wipe away toothpaste splatters and streaks with glass cleaner.

Tip: Multi-task to keep up and lessen cleaning time later! Quickly wipe the sink and toilet during kids’ bath time, or clean the tub once a week after you take a shower.

Tip: Repurpose a cake stand to keep counter clutter organized and easy to wipe around.

Quick Tip

MrClean A clean bathroom isn’t all about looks Mr. Clean® Disinfecting Bath Cleaner with Febreze® Freshness helps tackle tough soap scum on contact without the harsh smell of traditional cleaners, plus helps eliminate odors with the freshness of Febreze.

Step Two: Tackle Floors

  • Pull rugs, bathmats and the trashcan out of the bathroom, then sweep and mop the floors.
  • If you have time, toss machine-washable floor coverings into the washer for an extra thorough cleaning.

Tip: Set a decorative tray on the floor near the toilet to store extra rolls of toilet paper.

Quick Tip

Febreze To help keep floors cleaner for longer, take care of messes as they occur. Swiffer® WetJet® solution breaks up messes, and the pads trap and lock dirt to clean better than a mop and bucket.

Step Three: Organize

  • Towels: Use a basket or crate to keep towels and washcloths organized and in one spot, then tuck it into a cabinet or place it on a shelf.
  • Medicine Cabinet: Sometimes all it takes is a quick glance! Open your medicine cabinet to see if you can pitch or move anything around to make more room.
  • Accessories & Products: Collect spare hair ties and use a hair accessory organizer, and keep bathroom necessities in one convenient spot with a Lazy Susan.

Tip: Add a little color-coding to your bathroom to keep the décor colorful, while also encouraging each family member to stay organized.

Tip: Need more room to hang towels or store toiletries? Use the rungs of a small ladder to create extra hanging spots.
