Create an environment perfect for learning by crafting your own 3D pencil art. Hang it near your child’s desk or play area to keep them inspired.

Materials
Mailing tube
Yellow craft paper, enough to wrap mailing tube
Hot glue gun
Low temperature glue sticks
Foam cone, same diameter as mailing tube
Light brown paper, enough to wrap foam cone
Scissors
Soup can, label removed and cleaned
Black marker
2 pink sponges

Directions
1. Wrap mailing tube with yellow paper and hot glue to secure.
2. Cover foam cone in light brown paper, cut off excess, then hot glue to secure. With the black marker, colour the tip of the cone to mimic lead.
3. Use the black marker to trace around the base of the can onto both sponges. Cut out sponges, then hot glue together to create a thick pink eraser.
4. Slide the soup can over one end of the pencil and secure with hot glue.
5. Hot glue the pink eraser to the soup can, then hot glue the cone to the other end of the pencil.
