From Garden Hose to Wreath To create the base of the wreath, all you need is a garden hose, red or green, new or used. Wrap the hose from your hand to elbow 3 - 4 times and use heavy-duty garden clippers or scissors to cut the remaining hose, making sure to leave the nozzle attached. When securing the loops together with floral wire, there’s no need to make the wreath shape too neat since you’ll want visitors to recognize it’s a hose.Tip: Don't throw the rest of the hose away. With a 50-foot hose, there's enough for two more wreaths!
Embellishments Once you have your wreath, start by wiring greens (artificial or real) to the top and halfway down the sides. Floral wire and a glue gun will allow you to attach your desired accents.
